This base-mounted end suction pump is constructed with a class 30 cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The assembly incorporates a dry shaft design that prevents fluid contact with the stainless steel shaft, which is protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. For fluid containment, the pump integrates a mechanical seal comprising ceramic and EPT components. The hydraulic structure accommodates pressures up to 125 PSI.
This assembly utilizes a 20 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM with Aegis grounding, configured for a 200-230V / 3PH power supply, with a DOE PEI rating of 0.46. The "S" in the series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
