This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring. The pump utilizes a rear pullout design and a dry shaft configuration that prevents fluid contact with the shaft. A slip-on bronze shaft sleeve facilitates seal maintenance, while flush seal line taps allow for the installation of a filter. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are provided on the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 200/60/3 power supply and features a NEMA 215 JM motor frame with feet. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and utilizes an across-the-line starting option. The pump meets DOE standards with a PEI value of 0.9. The top center line discharge design simplifies piping layouts and assists with system venting.
