This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. It includes a 2" suction connection and a 1-1/4" discharge connection. The pump utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the shaft and circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supporting operating temperatures up to 250°F. The rear pull-out design allows for service without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts. Flush seal line taps are included for the installation of an optional seal protection filter.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM using a 1-1/2 HP Baldor motor with a 145 JM frame style and mounting feet. It features an ODP enclosure and complies with Super E Premium Efficiency standards as specified in MG1-12.55. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3 with across-the-line starting. The unit functions in a 40°C ambient environment with NEMA standard construction and CCW rotation. The motor and pump assembly maintains a PEI of 0.78.
