This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a bronze wear ring. The assembly uses a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The design uses a dry shaft configuration to prevent fluid contact with the pump shaft.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 1 HP Baldor ODP motor in a 143T NEMA frame. The electrical configuration supports 230-460/60/3 power with across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded structural steel base equipped with an integral drip pan, a Woods coupler, and a standard coupler guard. The system operates at a 40 °C ambient temperature and complies with a DOE PEI value of 0.81.
