This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing, a 10" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact with the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Flush seal line taps are provided for filter installation, and pressure tappings are integrated into the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and drip cover. It is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across-the-line starting. The motor is built to a JM frame style with feet and complies with NEMA standards for premium efficiency under MG1-12.55. The unit includes AEGIS shaft grounding and features a counter-clockwise rotation. This model has a PEI of 0.94 and is designed with a rear pullout and top center line discharge configuration.
