This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft. A bronze shaft sleeve protects the shaft from contact with the circulating fluid. The pump uses a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, which is rated for operation up to 250°F. The bearing frame houses permanently lubricated, sealed-for-life ball bearings.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 1-1/2 HP, TEFC Baldor Super E motor in a 145 NEMA frame. The motor is configured for 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power with across the line starting and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with a drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. This pump is EISA compliant with a DOE PEI of 0.85 and an HI energy rating of 15, and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment.
