This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to protect the pump shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, suitable for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design facilitates servicing without removing system piping, and the top center line discharge serves to reduce piping strain.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with an across the line starting option. The motor is built on a 184JM frame style with feet and features AEGIS shaft grounding. This configuration meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a DOE PEI of 0.89. The system is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
