This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction consists of a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It uses a dry shaft design that isolates the pump shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal assembly includes a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for maintenance without disturbing the system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts and facilitates self-venting.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured with a 254 JM motor frame style with feet. The motor is a premium efficiency model that meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. Power requirements are 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH, with across the line starting. The motor is rated for a 40°C ambient environment with counter-clockwise rotation. This pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.86.
