This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The 11-1/4" nominal diameter impeller is dynamically balanced to ensure operational consistency.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP TEFC Baldor motor in a NEMA 213 T-frame. The electrical configuration supports 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power with across-the-line starting. This motor is a premium efficiency unit that meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that features an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard guard. The unit has a DOE PEI rating of 0.95 and is configured for a 40°C ambient environment.
