This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction port and a 3" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the shaft and circulating fluid. It includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the piping, and the top center line discharge configuration facilitates system venting.
This pump is configured with a 30 HP Baldor Super E Premium Efficiency motor that meets MG1-12.55 standards. The motor operates at 3450 RPM and is housed in a TEFC enclosure with a 286 JM frame style including feet. The electrical requirements are 230-460/60/3PH power with across the line starting. The unit is rated for a 40°C ambient environment and operates with CCW rotation. It meets NEMA standards and has a DOE PEI value of 0.9.
