This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The assembly incorporates a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to prevent contact between the fluid and the pump shaft. A mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber provides fluid containment at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump includes flush seal line taps and a rear pullout design to facilitate maintenance. The discharge port follows a top center line configuration.
The unit is powered by a 1-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, configured in a 182 JM frame with feet. It operates at 1150 RPM and utilizes an across-the-line starting option. The electrical requirement is 200V, 60Hz, 3PH. The motor meets NEMA standards and premium efficiency requirements under MG1-12.55. The pump includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
