This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 8" suction and 6" discharge ports configured with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge facilitates self-venting.
This pump is driven by a 30 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and a 286 JM motor frame with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM and is configured for a 575/60/3 PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is rated with a PEI value of 0.92.
