This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 13-1/2" nominal impeller constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing with an integrated bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact with circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supporting fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The bearing housing contains permanently lubricated, sealed-for-life ball bearings.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP WEG motor with a TEFC enclosure, NEMA 324 T-frame, and AEGIS shaft grounding. The power configuration is 380V, 60Hz, 3PH with an across-the-line starting option. The pump is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. This assembly meets a DOE PEI value of 0.92 and complies with NEMA standards.
