This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The dry shaft design isolates the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are included on both suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 286 T-frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply and utilizes across-the-line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard featuring a Woods coupler. This unit incorporates AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards under MG1-12.55. The overall pump efficiency is represented by a PEI value of 0.94.
