This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge connection. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It uses a mechanical seal with a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. The pump is designed with ANSI Class 125 flanges and utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. Pressure tappings are included at the suction and discharge connections for monitoring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor in a 254 T-frame with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply and includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant guard. This model meets NEMA premium efficiency standards, complies with MG1-12.55, and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.91.
