This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a stainless steel impeller with a 6-1/4" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, allowing for operation in clean water applications at temperatures up to 250°F.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The system is configured for 230-460/60/3 power and utilizes a NEMA 182 T-frame. This motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding and an across-the-line starting option. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a standard coupler guard, and a Woods coupler. This unit has a DOE PEI rating of 0.94.
