This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a stainless steel shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design and includes a bronze wear ring. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a tungsten carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, which allows for operation in clean water temperatures up to 300°F. The impeller is balanced to ANSI Grade G6.3, and the casing includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power and uses a NEMA 184T frame. The motor meets premium efficiency requirements as defined by MG1-12.55. This unit features AEGIS shaft grounding and a Woods coupler housed within an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base that incorporates an integral drip pan.
