This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring. The pump assembly includes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a tungsten carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, suitable for clean water temperatures up to 300°F. Pressure tappings are located on both the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, housed in a 215T NEMA frame. The electrical configuration supports a 230-460/60/3 power supply with across the line starting. The pump is mounted on a welded structural steel base with an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard featuring a Woods coupler. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. This pump carries a DOE PEI rating of 0.88.
