This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction connection and a 5" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It uses a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the pump shaft. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supporting operation in temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly features flush seal line taps, suction and discharge pressure tappings, and a rear pullout design with a top center line discharge.
This pump is configured with a 15 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure with a 254 JM frame style and feet. The motor is a premium efficiency unit that meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The electrical requirements are 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH, with across-the-line starting. The motor operates in a 40°C ambient environment with CCW rotation and follows NEMA standards. The unit has a DOE PEI value of 0.92.
