This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction port and a 3" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It uses a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve with a dry shaft design to prevent contact with the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250 °F. This model includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and features flush seal line taps.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is built to a 324TS NEMA frame and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. Electrical requirements are 230-460/60/3 V, 3 PH, with a starting option for across the line applications. The assembly includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan. This pump maintains a PEI of 0.91 and is configured for 40 °F ambient operation with counter-clockwise rotation.
