This base-mounted end suction pump is constructed with a class 30 cast iron casing and utilizes a bronze impeller for fluid movement. The assembly integrates a stainless steel shaft covered by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve, which prevents contact with the circulating fluid through an internal dry shaft design. Mechanical sealing is managed by a ceramic seat and EPT rubber elements, providing a durable barrier for the shaft assembly.
Power is supplied by a 25 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM, which incorporates Aegis grounding and utilizes 380-460V / 3PH power with a DOE PEI rating of 0.44. The 'S' in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
