This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. The unit utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. It is constructed with a stainless steel shaft, a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve, and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, which is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump design incorporates a dry shaft construction to prevent contact between the fluid and the shaft.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is a NEMA 284 T-frame configuration designed for 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply. This assembly includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring, greasable bearings, and a standard Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant guard. The unit is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan. The pump meets premium efficiency standards per NEMA MG1-12.55 and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.9. It is configured for across-the-line starting with 40°C ambient operation and CCW rotation.
