This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design equipped with an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration supports self-venting.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 2 HP Baldor motor. This motor is enclosed in an ODP housing with a drip cover and is built on a 145 JM frame style with feet. It is configured for a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and operates at a 40°C ambient temperature with counter-clockwise rotation. This unit has a DOE PEI value of 0.83.
