This base-mounted end suction pump incorporates a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The assembly utilizes a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve, which prevents contact with the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat with EPT rubber elements and supports operation up to 125 PSI. Constructed with integral mounting feet and center-line discharge, the unit permits maintenance access without disturbing system piping.
Powered by a 40 HP Premium Efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM, the system includes Aegis grounding and utilizes a 380-460V / 3PH power supply, with a DOE PEI rating of 0.46. The 'S' in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
