This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump design includes a dry shaft with a slip-on bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal comprised of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This assembly is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit features pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, flush seal line taps, and a rear pullout design to allow for servicing without disturbing system piping.
The pump is configured with a 10 HP Baldor motor in a 215 JM frame with feet. The motor features an ODP enclosure and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards with integrated AEGIS shaft grounding. The electrical requirements are 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz at 1750 RPM with across-the-line starting. The motor is rated for 40°C ambient operation with standard counter-clockwise rotation. This model has a DOE PEI value of 0.9.
