This close-coupled end suction pump incorporates a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The dry shaft mechanical design utilizes a ceramic seat and EPT rubber, providing a pressure rating of 125 PSI. Flush seal line taps allow for the integration of a filter, while standard pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections permit system monitoring. The slip-on shaft sleeve simplifies seal maintenance in the field.
The assembly utilizes a 10 HP Premium Efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM with Aegis grounding, powered by 380-460V / 3PH electrical input, with a DOE PEI rating of 0.45. The 'S' in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
