This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design with a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and a rear pullout design that allows for service without disturbing system piping. The top centerline discharge configuration simplifies piping layouts and facilitates self-venting.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 50 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and a JM motor frame with feet. It is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power and utilizes across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA standard requirements and complies with MG1-12.55 premium efficiency ratings. This unit includes an AEGIS shaft grounding system and has a PEI of 0.92. The pump is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment.
