This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The construction includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid and features a mechanical seal comprised of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The unit includes flush seal line taps for filter installation and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design permits servicing without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts. The pump is rated for temperatures up to 250°F.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor configured with a 213JM frame style with feet. The motor is powered by 230-460V, 3PH current with across the line starting. It includes AEGIS shaft grounding, CCW rotation, and a 40°C ambient rating. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. This equipment has a DOE PEI of 0.89.
