This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 4" suction and 3" discharge. It is equipped with an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring. The unit utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a tungsten carbide seat, carbon rotor, and Viton rubber, capable of handling clean water up to 300°F. The pump assembly connects to system piping via ANSI Class 125 flanges and includes an OSHA-compliant coupler guard over a standard Woods coupler.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 20 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, NEMA 256 T-frame, and greasable bearings. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 power input with across the line starting. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The entire assembly is mounted on a welded base that incorporates an integrated drip pan. This unit has a PEI value of 0.92.
