This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction connection and a 2-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft and incorporates flush seal line taps for filter installation. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for a maximum temperature of 250°F. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping.
The pump is configured with a 7-1/2 HP WEG motor in a 213 JM frame with feet and an ODP enclosure. It operates at 1750 RPM using a 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. The unit supports across-the-line starting and operates in a 40°C ambient environment. This configuration has a DOE PEI value of 0.87.
