This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design with a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250°F. The unit incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for maintenance without disturbing the system piping, while the top center line discharge assists in self-venting and simplifying piping layouts.
This pump is powered by a 25 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, configured for a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply. The motor operates at 3450 RPM and utilizes a 256 JM frame with feet. It meets NEMA standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements and has a 40°C ambient rating. This pump is configured for across-the-line starting with a counter-clockwise rotation when viewed from the drive end. The pump has a DOE PEI of 0.89.
