This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It uses a dry shaft design with a replaceable slip-on bronze shaft sleeve that prevents the shaft from contacting the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and it is rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured with a 215 JM motor frame with feet and operates with CCW rotation. The electrical input is 230-460V/60/3PH with an across the line starting option. The motor is rated for 40°C ambient temperature and meets NEMA standards. This unit provides premium efficiency, includes AEGIS shaft grounding, and has a DOE PEI of 0.9.
