The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The design utilizes a dry shaft configuration to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the pump shaft.
The pump is driven by a 5 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, configured in a NEMA 215 T frame. Power requirements are 230-460/60/3, utilizing across the line starting. The unit operates at 1150 RPM and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. It includes AEGIS shaft grounding and greasable bearings within the bearing frame. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that features an integrated drip pan and a standard Woods coupler protected by a guard.
