This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge, both equipped with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft fitted with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The pump assembly includes a bronze wear ring. The mechanical seal is constructed with a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The unit employs a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid.
This pump is powered by a 1-1/2 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 145 T-frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3 with across the line starting. The unit includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. It is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods coupler covered by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient environment and has a DOE PEI value of 0.91.
