This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The construction includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the system fluid and the pump shaft. It uses a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. Flush seal line taps allow for the installation of a filter, and the casing includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP WEG motor with a TEFC enclosure. It features a JM frame style with feet, configured for 230-460V, 60 Hz, 3PH power. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. Starting is configured for across the line, and the unit operates at a 40 °C ambient temperature with CCW rotation. This model has a DOE PEI value of 0.89.
