This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter impeller constructed from bronze, paired with a cast iron casing, a bronze shaft sleeve, and a bronze wear ring. The pump incorporates a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. The assembly utilizes a slip-on shaft sleeve, a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid, and flush seal line taps to allow for filter installation. A top center line discharge design facilitates self-venting and simplifies piping layouts.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor motor. The motor features an ODP enclosure, a 256 JM frame with feet, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 PH power supply with across the line starting. The unit meets NEMA standards, operates in a 40 °C ambient environment, and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.92.
