This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze wear ring, and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design consisting of a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal is configured with a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for operation in clean water at temperatures up to 250°F. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a 213 T frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply with across the line starting and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard utilizing a Woods coupler. This equipment has a DOE PEI rating of 0.88.
