This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 5" suction and 4" discharge connections, configured with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent contact with circulating fluid and includes an easy-to-replace, slip-on shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor motor in a 256 JM frame with feet. The motor features a TEFC enclosure with a drip cover and meets NEMA premium efficiency standard MG1-12.55, including AEGIS shaft grounding. This unit connects to a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting configuration. The assembly utilizes a rear pullout design and top center line discharge to facilitate piping layouts. It carries a DOE PEI rating of 0.92 and functions in ambient temperatures up to 40°C.
