This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. It includes a 2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge connection. The pump is configured with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller compliant with NSF61 standards. A dry shaft design utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve to prevent fluid contact. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at 250 °F. The unit includes pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections and provides flush seal line taps. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge facilitates self-venting.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It uses a 215 JM frame with feet and is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The equipment functions in 40 °C ambient temperatures and carries a PEI rating of 0.83.
