This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" diameter bronze impeller. It incorporates a dry shaft design utilizing a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation in fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The casing is equipped with gauge ports for suction and discharge connections.
The pump is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor with a NEMA 213 T-frame, operating at 1750 RPM. The electrical configuration is 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz, utilizing across-the-line starting and counter-clockwise rotation. This motor meets NEMA Premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and carries a DOE PEI rating of 0.88. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan, a standard coupler guard, and a Woods coupler. The unit is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
