This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes an 11" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller equipped with a bronze wear ring. The assembly includes a stainless steel shaft, a bronze shaft sleeve, and a cast iron casing. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit employs a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. Pressure tappings are provided on both suction and discharge connections, and the bearing housing utilizes sealed-for-life ball bearings.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 10 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 215 T-frame enclosure. It is configured for 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power with across-the-line starting. The motor includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment. Mounting components consist of a welded base with an integral drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. This equipment meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a PEI value of 0.87.
