This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing with center-line discharge and a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze with an integrated bronze wear ring. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections to monitor hydraulic performance.
The pump is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, configured for 230-460V/3PH power supply and 1750 RPM operation. This unit utilizes a NEMA 213T frame and features greasable bearings within the bearing frame. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, utilizing a Woods coupler for motor connection. The premium efficiency motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards and incorporates AEGIS shaft grounding. This pump assembly has a DOE PEI of 0.88 and is configured for across the line starting.
