This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction connection and a 6" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F in clean water applications. Pressure tappings are provided on the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 60 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 364T frame. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 PH electrical input with across the line starting and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards, including MG1-12.55 and AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. It is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature with a CCW rotation and has a PEI of 0.93.
