This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction consists of a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal with a tungsten carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation in clean water up to 300°F. The unit employs a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the shaft and circulating fluid, and it features a bearing frame with greasable bearings.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP Baldor TEFC motor on a NEMA 284 T-frame. It is configured for across the line starting on a 230-460/60/3 power supply with a 40°C ambient rating. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and includes an OSHA-compliant coupler guard and a Wood's flexible coupler. This unit meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump has a PEI of 0.97.
