This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve in a dry shaft configuration. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 324 T frame. It is configured for a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply with an across the line starting option. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. It uses a Woods coupler and greasable bearings within the bearing frame. This unit meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards with AEGIS shaft grounding and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.92.
