This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with an integrated bronze wear ring. The assembly utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump construction incorporates a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid.
The unit is powered by a 15 HP, 1750 RPM WEG motor in a NEMA 254 T-frame with an ODP enclosure. It operates on a 230-460/60/3 power supply and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. This configuration maintains a 40°F ambient rating, CCW rotation, and a DOE PEI of 0.92.
