This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. The pump includes a cast iron casing and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It uses a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve and AEGIS shaft grounding. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit employs a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid.
The unit is powered by a 25 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a 284TS NEMA frame. It operates at 3450 RPM and requires a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan, a standard coupler guard, and a Woods coupler. This configuration is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and meets NEMA standard requirements. The pump provides a DOE PEI rating of 0.91 and maintains premium efficiency standards in accordance with MG1-12.55.
