This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller. It includes a bronze wear ring and a stainless steel shaft protected by a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit utilizes a dry shaft design to isolate the pump shaft from the circulating fluid.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor TEFC motor mounted on a NEMA 254 T-frame. It is configured for 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across the line starting. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This configuration is rated for a 40°C ambient environment and has a PEI value of 0.91.
