This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller housed in a cast iron casing and cover. The pump is configured with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250 °F. This unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 5 HP Baldor motor. The motor is an ODP, NEMA standard enclosure with a 182 JM frame style including feet. Electrical configuration is 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH, with across the line starting. The motor meets Super E Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment. This unit has a DOE PEI rating of 0.83.
