This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a 13-1/2" bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft protected by a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, as well as flush seal line taps.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 60 HP WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 364 T-frame. It is configured for a 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply with across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards under MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and includes a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. This pump has a PEI of 0.93 and is rated for 40°C ambient temperature operation.
